Building and Administering a SQL Server Cluster

Speaker: John Handra, DBA RDX

Summary: We are going to discuss the process of building a SQL Server Cluster from the ground up. We will also discuss best practices and troubleshooting techniques if there are any problems with the cluster once it is already built and functioning properly. For this session, you only need a base understanding of SQL Server and Windows.

About John: John Handra is a SQL Server Database Administrator and a member of the SQL Server Architect Team for RDX (Remote DBA Experts) based in Pittsburgh, PA. He has worked with over 100 clients on SQL Server activities such as Database Maintenance, Disaster Recovery, High Availability and Performance Tuning. He is also part of a program at RDX that helps mentor junior DBA’s.
